Jeopardy Final Question Music
Jeopardy Final Question Music. Some of the final jeopardy! questions are beyond difficult, mostly because the topics are oftentimes quite esoteric. President george bush keeps cassettes of this group’s music in his briefcase to play in his limousine:
Before you start answering a question, make sure you're in a state of mind about what the question is about. It is not a bad idea to start by seeking clarification on the topic being asked. Make a polite request "I apologize, but I don't seem to understand what you are asking, would you mind rephrasing?" You'll be more effective in such situations than shouting at the top of your lungs with no knowledge or clarity. The purpose behind answering questions is to contribute positively to the one who is searching for an answer. Don't waste time. Seek understanding first.
One method to increase your efficiency in responding to your question in an accurate and objective manner is when you allow the person who asked the question time to finish asking. Some people take time to explain precisely what they want to convey. In answering a question prior to it is fully asked may seem insensitive. Don't think you have a clear idea of where the inquiry is heading, so you want to help the person find the answer. If you're on time allow the person to "ramble" while you note important details. It gives you the time for you to think up one of the most suitable answers to the question. Being able to listen can give you a high percentage of success for answering questions.
You must determine if you're qualified to answer that questions or someone else does. If you are not authorized, can you talk on this topic (journalists could be a source of trouble even though you're not meant to be the company's spokesperson)? How deep should the answer be? Pauses and moments of silence demonstrate that you're not just churning up any information you've in your mind but a clearly thought through answer is coming. You can actually prepare someone for to answer you by declaring "Let me think ..., Let me look around." ..". So that the person does stop waiting around, thinking they haven't heard it, or that you're not paying attention, etc. Think through your thoughts and you'll be able to formulate statements which you'll not regret for later. You can determine the best way to answer with wisdom without leaving the person with injuries or wounds that are not healed.
