Question Of The Day Komo
Question Of The Day Komo. Watch komo news @4p today to see your guesses! Told komo news on wednesday.

Before you start answering questions, ensure you have in your mind what the question is about. There's no harm in having a clear understanding of what is being asked. If you are asked politely "I apologize, but you don't seem to get what you're saying I would appreciate if you could clarify?" You'll be able to express yourself better by doing this rather than just ranting about with no awareness or wisdom. Remember that the reason for answering questions is to make a contribution to the one who is seeking an answer. Don't take time. Seek understanding first.
One strategy to increase the likelihood of you answering questions in a meaningful and objective manner is if you allow the person asking you the question to finish asking. Many people will take the time to clarify exactly what they want to know. When you respond to a question without knowing what is properly asked might seem as if you're being disrespectful. Do not assume that you are aware of where the query is heading and thus you wish to help the person to get to the point. If you're not pressed for time allow the individual to "ramble" while you keep track of important points. It will also allow you time for you to think up your best solution to the question. Being able to listen can give you a high success rate for answering questions.
You should determine if you are qualified to answer the inquiry or you are. Does your license permit you to speak on the subject (journalists can make you vulnerable even if you are not intended to be company's spokesperson)? What should the response be? In the meantime, pauses and periods of silence let you know that you're not just churning through whatever information you've in your mind but a clearly thought-out answer is on the way. It is possible to prepare the person in the audience for an answer by asking "Let me think about it ..., Let me take a look." ..". So that the person does do not just sit and think you've missed something the answer, and instead you're simply ignoring etc. Thinking about the situation also allows you to come up with statements that you'll be happy regarding later. You can assess the best option to speak with confidence without leaving the person with marks or new wounds.
