A way to increase the quality of your answers to the question in a meaningful and objective way is to ensure that you give the person posing the question to finish asking. Do not presume that you know the direction the question is taking, therefore you must assist the individual to clarify the issue. You must determine if you are competent to answer the question or whether someone else is. You can prepare someone who is expecting an answer by asking "Let me think about it ..., let me think." ..". This means that the person will not sit there and think you have not heard You are merely ignoring or ignoring.
